PatternMaker Release History

1.0.19 December 1, 2004
Initial Release
1.0.20 December 13, 2004
Modified plug-in to load in Cyrillic languages (such as Russian)
1.0.21 December 24, 2004
Optimized some of the patterns for certain PostScript printers.  This revision will convert the patterns of any document created using previous versions when you open the document.  Also fixed a small problem that would shift the patterns when you modified them if you had shrunk the bounding box of the page item containing the pattern.
1.0.22 December 27, 2004
Fixed a problem that snuck into 1.0.21 where changing an existing pattern by switching the pattern type caused an error message to appear.
1.0.26 July 20, 2005
PatternMaker is now version 1.1 for CS and CS2.  It's free and comes with three patterns.  More patterns sold separately.
1.2.32 November 3, 2005
PatternMaker is now version 1.2 for CS and CS2.  It has been updated to support BarcodeMaker and PatternPack 1.2.
1.2.33 November 6, 2005
PatternMaker now plays nicely with INX and InDesign CS2 libraries.  Also, due to issues on the Mac side, we don't show our splash screen on startup anymore. Fixed an issue some users were having: on rare occasions, an activated plug-in would claim to be expired on startup, even though it wasn't.
1.3.34 January 30, 2006
Support for new BarcodeMaker release.
1.3.35 March 13, 2006
Patterns now default to CMYK black, not RGB.  When dragging a snippet pattern onto a page, we sometimes didn't keep the font name; now we do.  Also, installers are here on Mac and Windows!
1.3.36 April 23, 2006
Added options for BarcodeMaker
1.3.37 June 19, 2007
Mac CS-2 build only. A build configuration error crept in while releasing BarcodeMaker 1.1.30, that caused PatternMaker to not see the current selection and always be disabled in InDesign CS2 for Mac. This fixes that error.
2.0.0.5 June 6, 2007
New version for CS-3 only. Features PatternPresets, many small fixes and enhancements. Model and GUI now separate plug-ins.
2.0.0.6 July 3, 2007
Mac only build that addresses some activation issues
2.0.0.7 July 13, 2007
Win only build to fix a problem from that snuck in last release where saved patterns weren't refreshing.
2.0.0.8 August 22, 2007
An unnecessary error message was popping up when deleting a swatch. That is now fixed.
2.0.0.10 August 22, 2007
Some patterns, specifically barcodes, were having their embedded EPS filenames get renamed inconsistently. This fixes that issue.
2.0.0.12 February 4, 2008
Added CMYK Spot color support.

The most current release is always the one that can be downloaded from our website. To tell what release you have installed, you can select the "Configure Plug-Ins..." menu item (under Help in Windows or the InDesign menu on the Mac), and then double click on the plug-in.  Plug-ins are listed alphabetically by file name.

In the configure plug-in dialog, look for the text labeled "Version".  The first two numbers are the version number.  The last number is the build number.  Teacup will occasionally release patch fixes where only the build number of the plug-in will change.
