TypeFitter Release History
Release 1.0.14 June 12, 2005
Initial Release for InDesign/InCopy CS and CS-2
Release 1.0.15 June 20, 2005
Windows only problem on some configurations would not unlock.
Release 1.0.16 November 6, 2004
Due to some problems on the Mac side, we no longer show the splash screen on startup.  Fixed an issue some users were having: on rare occasions, an activated plug-in would claim to be expired on startup, even though it wasn't. The configure dialog shows this as 1.0.14, but see the modification date of the file to confirm that it's build 16.
Release 1.0.17 February 7, 2007
Release of free version for InCopy, a few small fixes
Release 1.0.18 February 23, 2007
Released for Mac InDesign CS and CS2 only -- fix for activation
Release 2.0.0.7 June 6, 2007
New version to support InDesign CS3
Release 2.0.0.8 June 8, 2007
Mac only -- Fixed install problem where InDesign would hang on launch for users who had previous versions installed
Release 2.0.0.9 June 11, 2007
Users with old versions of the plug-in in some situations were having their trial period expire immediately for CS3
Release 2.0.0.10 June 22, 2007
Added manual activation button to activation dialog.
Release 2.0.0.11 June 26, 2007
TypeFitter would enforce the min <= desired <= max rule on values within a TypeFit style, which wasn't needed. Changed format number (old docs will convert), added stability enhancements.
Release 2.0.0.12 July 3, 2007
Mac only build to address activation issues
Release 2.0.0.13 July 6, 2007
Win only build to fix activation issue on 64 bit Vista
Release 2.0.0.14 July 13, 2007
eSellerate libraries had an activation bug that prevented activations from 'sticking'. Fixing this requires both this build and a manual fix. For more information, see here.
Release 2.0.0.15 February 21, 2008
Mac only release to improve stability on CS3 on PowerPC machines.

The most current release is always the one that can be downloaded from our website. To tell what release you have installed, you can select the "Configure Plug-Ins..." menu item (under Help in Windows or the InDesign menu on the Mac), and then double click on the plug-in.  Plug-ins are listed alphabetically by file name.

In the configure plug-in dialog, look for the text labeled "Version".  The first two numbers are the version number.  The last number is the build number.  Teacup will occasionally release patch fixes where only the build number of the plug-in will change.
